IMILAC - INDIVIDUAL, 17.6 kg
Stunning Imilac individual stony iron meteorite (pallasite). One of the largest intact specimens outside of a museum (17.6 kg!), with most having been cut into slices over the decades. Fusion crust and amazing yellow, orange, and green olivine crystals throughout.
Provenance is from Robert Haag and this specimen appears in several of his meteorite catalogs, including the 2020 edition on Page 7.
